I've only made 7 more cranes since my last update (so there's a total of 67) but I have spent the majority of my time hanging them up. I also managed to fix my falling cranes problem, it turns out I just needed to use a different brand of tape. Anyway, here's a picture:

Day 9
Sorry for not posting in while, I've had my hands full for a while. I've gotten 20 more cranes made since my last post, so that means I have 60 done. I won't be posting a picture today, seeing as its 12:30 and I am not about to start hanging up 20 more paper cranes. I've noticed that some of the cranes that I've hung up have fallen from the ceiling. I really hope this doesn't keep up because I don't want to keep having to rehang them. I'm thinking that the tape isn't sticky enough so I'll try a different brand when I go to hang these ones up.

The Weekends
I've decided that during the weekends, I'm not going to be making any cranes. There is far too much stuff that I'm distracted with. That is all.

Day 5.5
Sorry about not posting yesterday, I fell asleep in front of the tv so I got almost nothing done. I'll post more later today

Day 3
I am 4/100 of the way done! If you're doing the math, that makes 40 cranes I've done so far. Which means I'm a whole day ahead of schedule. That 40 means I got 16 done today, although technically I did 17 but that last one got orange juice spilled on it.

Day 1
First day of the project. I made 10 cranes today for a whooping total of 10! If I make anymore today I'll add it to tomorrow's post
The Beginning
Hello to all! The purpose of this blog is so you can follow my progress as I compete the task of creating 1000 paper cranes. If you don't know the purpose of creating so many of these paper birds allow me to explain. In the Japanese culture, if you make 1000 paper cranes, it grants you a life time of good luck or grants you a wish. If you're wondering what I need a wish for, or why I want good luck so much that I would create so many paper cranes, there is only one thing I can say: I've never been too lucky in my life, and I figure its worth a shot, right? I will do my best to update this blog daily. If my math is correct, if I complete 10 cranes a day, I should be able to finish this project within 4 months. Starting today, I will be creating these paper cranes, hopefully on a daily basis. Most of the updates I post will be rather short. I will say how many I did that day, how many I have done total, and possibly pictures of the cranes as I hang them.
